Well Preserved

Mummies are always a winner. There hasn’t been a Hopscotch trip to the British Museum that hasn’t started with us all peering in horror at the dried-out bodies of cats, dogs and humans in the Egyptian galleries. They hold a grim fascination for kids, and, let’s face it, adults too! This Sunday, the galleries are made even more fun, as children create their own giant animations of the mummification process to upload to the web. These hi-tech-meets-ancient-artefacts events at the museum really work well, especially for older kids. Recommended!
