Having horse-mad kids in London is kind of tricky. There aren’t an awful lot of ponies wandering our parks and gardens. But there will be guaranteed equine action at Horseman’s Sunday, at St John’s Church in Hyde Park. The event started in 1967, when the Hyde Park stables were under threat of closure, and now the blessing of the beasts is an annual event. Expect fancily dressed horses, bands, a fete, and lots going on for children. Hot hoof it there for 10am, horse parade at 12pm.
