Terrible Tudors

The National Portrait Gallery is going all-out for Christmas this Sunday, with a series of Christmas-themed events and workshops. The cast from the West End’s Horrible Histories will be celebrating the season in Tudor style, join in a Q&A session with Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn. There are also crowns and wreaths to be made and lotions and potions to be brewed – create a pomander to ward off the evil smells of London! The gallery is slap-bang in the centre of town. So a visit to its series of Christmas-themed workshops and events on Saturday just has to be followed up by a twirl around Trafalgar Square. More here
