Retro Toons

What *did* kids do before the invention of TV cartoons? Peeped through slits in the side of little spinning drums called zoetropes, and watched cartoons. Probably featuring mice beating cats over the head. It’s really lovely to think that kids don’t really change that much. This Saturday, the Lost Picture Show film club is holding a free zoetrope-making workshop in Dalston Square. The best will be projected onto a big screen before the free evening showing of Ghostbusters. Free. Saturday. 2pm-5pm. More here
