Grimmly Fiendish

We’re suckers for finding out about the dark side of fairytales, and older kids love it too. There’s something delicious about discovering that the princesses and wicked stepmothers you thrilled over as tiny tots have an (even) darker side than you thought. The Goethe Institute’s Brother’s Grimm exhibition, Märchenwelten, explores the relevance of fairy tales today using interactive exhibits and a mysterious forest. The exhibition encourages visitors to find out more about German culture and language, perhaps it will spark an interest in speaking another tongue in your little ones, and we’ll all live happily ever after. Free, call to confirm times. Until June 22. More here
