Hello Summer

Cross because you’re not at Glastonbury this year? Turn off the TV coverage, and get down to Blackshaw’s Big One, a mini-festival in a Tooting pub. There will be bands playing, face-painting, screen-printing with the lovely Crafty Pint, and proper toilets. The afternoon is geared around families, but you might want to move away from the comedy after 7.30pm (it’s big enough to be out of earshot). You’ll be able to see the bands, have a seat, buy cold beer at reasonable prices, and get a bus home to your nice warm, soft bed. Who’s laughing now, Pilton-people? Free. More here
