The super family-friendly Sydenham Arts Festival continues this weekend. Pick from a huge selection of free events. We like the sound of Saturday’s Habitat Land Art, where kids will get to make a sculpture out of natural materials (free), then populate that with little hand-made creatures, and Sunday’s Wacky Races-style show, The Remarkable Race of 1913, which will be performed in Mayow Park with pedal-powered jalopies (free). Metamono, who use analogue synths and a theremin to make spooky, other-worldly music will be knocking around the community garden on Sunday afternoon, and performing in the evening. There’s loads more going on. Have a good scour of the full programme here.
