World Archaeology Festival

Tiny Indiana Joneses will dig UCL’s World Archaeology Festival this Saturday June 13. Held at the Institute of Archaeology and Gordon Square Gardens, this is far from a dry and dusty academic event. Last year we tried flint knapping, mixed paints and created cave art, learned to weave, learned about alchemy, made an ancient Egyptian wax servant, and discovered how to find out what people ate in the past (clue: involves poo). Plus LOADS more. It’s Horrible Histories come to life. Dead good. WC1. Free. Saturday June 11. 12pm–5pm. More here
