Greenwich and Docklands Festival

It’s the final weekend of the Greenwich and Docklands International Festival, and it’s finishing in sparkling style. The UK’s biggest, free outdoor programme of dance brings the piazzas, parks and waterfronts of Canary Wharf alive, with spectacular shows set in giant heads, simple and beautiful duets, and high-adrenaline aerial performances. Go and be mesmerised. Meanwhile, in Woolwich, visit Ignite, a giant street arts party, with mechanical animals, rotating musicians, and a fantastic performance on a 13-tonne digger. And don’t miss the truly spectacular finale, The Clash Of Drums, in Woolwich, with massed percussionists, pyrotechnics, and lots of wild noise! It starts late (10pm), but is worth it for a truly memorable, special treat. Free. Saturday 2. All day. More here
