Brought to you by the people behind Junior Open House weekend, Archikids is a festival of buildings, plans and strange constructions. Our kids adore building things and creating strange bits of architecture; they can never have enough Lego, and most of their drawings involve weird structures. There are dozens of workshops, classes and drop-in activities related to architecture and building across the square mile. Create light boxes, build giant Lego structures and ping-pong ball catapults, turn your pictures into postcards or make your own shelter. Take a trip up high to the roof terrace of 6 Bevis Marks to design a contemporary bridge for London or honeycomb home. Best suited to 5-11 year-olds. Find the full programme here. Across the square mile. Free. All weekend July 23-24. More here
