Serpentine Gallery Family Weekend

A Serpentine Gallery Family Weekend is one of our favourite ways to spend a few hours. Kids make serious (but still fun) art inspired by the collections around them in the building’s Sackler Centre. This Sunday, artist Renata Bandeira will help families transform a collection of loose parts into collective sculptures. They say, “Draw lines in space in the studio, shift shapes with sculptures on the lawn and capture movement around the site to create a geometric blueprint for others to follow.”  Afterwards, the Diana Memorial Playground is only a stroll across the park, or the Serpentine Bar and Kitchen is a lovely place to have a cup of tea and watch the ducks and geese at dusk. Free. All ages. W2. Free. Saturday and Sunday 1pm–5pm (drop-in). More here
