The Big Wild Sleepout

We don’t need much of an excuse to spend a night under the stars, so we’ll be setting up camp for the RSPB’s Big Wild Sleepout, which takes place July 29-31. It’s all about raising money to protect the UK’s wildlife, but also promises to be a heap of fun. Order a free explorer pack, then invite your friends, make your own shelter (or pop up a tent), cook out and get close to nature. No garden? There’s a sleep-out event taking place at Rainham Marshes in Essex, or Rye Meads which are within easy reach of most of London, or see if a local community group would help set up something nearer. More here
