The River Stage

The National Theatre’s River Stage is open for arty business, with an eclectic summer’s entertainment lined up. Every weekend, the stage is taken over by a different, madly inventive team, who will fill the street with colour and noise. This weekend, East London’s drag pioneers keep it family friendly with a children’s show from the legendary Jonny Woo, a tropical beach party and drag-e-oke. Next weekend (full line-up here).  Next weekend,  things get arty and eclectic with an array of entertainment from Latitude, including How It Ended, an interactive, gardening-themed show for really small kids, and the always magnificent Michael Rosen. Unmissable. Full line-up here. SE1. Free. Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons from 12.30pm. More here
